I am a Clinical Officer with over 10 years experience, specialized in pediatrics with hands on experience in Emergency, Triage and Assessment plus Admission. I also have special interest in public Health, Disease Control, prevention and promotion of health services.
It’ during my service while working with the children that I better understood the profound impact of the diseases to caregivers and patients especially Sickle Cell Disease. The pain, stigma, lack of knowledge and awareness surrounding the disease coupled with erratic supply of basic care packages ignited my passion for building the awareness and making a difference in communities!
