Went to Dr. Krapf primary school for then to Starehe Boys Centre. Proceeded to Egerton University for a bachelors degree in education.
Career. Been a teacher of mathematics and chemistry from 1998. Last 6 years supervised a secondary school as principal. Got interested in SCD when I met a person with it. Was concerned about the health challenges and difficulties in accessing drugs for the condition. Decided to support mainly in advocacy and publicity. I have been producing drama plays about SCD for school competitions. This sensitized young Kenyans about the condition. I work closely with those with SCD and provide encouragement support to them. I am lobbying my county government to provide drugs and medical care to children with SCD. I believe all counties should have a unit to support these children.
